Lines of Insurance

When you have 1 line. The renewal of the license costs the same to renew 1 line as it does 2 or 3 or even 7. When you expand states. You will pay a registration and renewal fee every two years for that state. So if you have 7 active licenses in Missouri all you have to do it is pay one renewal fee for Missouri and all of your licenses will be renewed. Each state then has their own fees and when you expand states that’s when it starts costing money.

This article is to avoid confusion when it comes to renewing licenses in your state. You have to pass each test and individually get each license then when you renew your general insurance license in each state all of the licenses you took an exam for will be renewed. (As long as you followed CE requirements and other necessary requirements)

Sometimes when you take get a license in a certain state within a certain time frame before your insurance license renewal, they will extend that out 2 years assuming you renew your license. Instead of you paying to get a license in a new state and then it coming to an end in 3 months and having to renew. It synchronizes with the renewal of all of your states.
