Gary Flotron is currently a professor at UMSL. He was a distinguished insurance and estate planning professional. Previously held many credentials. He sold his book of business and went to teaching at the University of Missouri St. Louis for many years where he currently teaches a couple different courses including a estate planning course which is required for the CFP program.

Career Exploration Competition/ Industry Issues Competition / FSP Cruise
For the people that know Gary Flotron, they will know that he is incredibly passionate about the FSP which stands for the “Society of Financial Service Professionals” and spent a lot of his time building students to be great feeding them interviews with highly skilled professionals and filling them into the role of this specific competition where students are required to write a paper and then the top placed contestants compete with a presentation. With his help, he successfully sent teams year after year to place in the competition and participate in the speech. Which started around 2010.
Other Achievements
Gary Flotron has spoken twice at The Heckerling which is a highly renowned conference where mostly estate planning and other lawyers only speak.
