Personal lines has everything to do with residential. It would have to do with your own “personal” insurance such as your own:

-Property and Casualty (such as home and auto insurances)

-Life (Your own personal policy)

-Health (Your own health insurance policy)

Personal lines encompasses all of these different types of insurances it is just for anything residential.
